cant find a Hobart Bros. welder/generator simplified arc engine driven flat head willy’s 1940’s model?
can’t find parts although I only need the idle control box, does anyone know if lincoln idle controls are compatable or any other aftermarket parts any info will help.
If I remember right, the Hobart controls were a diaphragm type, while Lincoln uses a solenoid with a little felt restrictor in a fitting. I worked on the Lincoln model K6090’s and can’t remember where the solenoid wires hooked to.sorry, but if the Hobart has a solenoid, then yes the Lincoln idle control could be adapted. Maybe a Miller control could also be adapted..hope this helps
